Hospital Access Control

Overview

Card authentication, gate control and audit logging in one system. Built on Linux and MySQL for a lower total cost than commercial products, and integrated with hospital ERP/EMR. Delivered to Seoul National University Bundang Hospital.

System Composition

Field (readers, gates, IP cameras, fingerprint) → internal network (VLAN, PoE) → platform (Linux, MySQL, policy engine, audit log) → applications (security console, ERP/EMR integration, statistics). Card → permission check → gate opens and the event is logged.
